We recommend that you seek professional help with color mistakes, but if you can't get to the salon you might be able to try the following remedies. If your at-home color:
Turned your hair too dark, try washing your hair with about a quarter size dollop of dish soap, but make sure you heavily condition your hair when you're done. The harshness of the dish soap might be able to strip some of the dark color, but it will certainly strip all the shine and manageability out of your hair.
